Job description

Job Title: Process analyst/Optimization expert

Location: Remote but may have to travel for a few days to KC

Requirements and skills

  • Document current-state business and operational processes across teams, including handoffs, systems used, decision points, exceptions, and manual workarounds.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, or eliminate work, with a focus on measurable labor leverage, cycle-time reduction, quality improvement, and better operating visibility.
  • Translate frontline workflows into AI-ready process maps, requirements, playbooks, and agentic workflow designs that can be implemented by automation, data, engineering, or AI teams.
  • Partner with business leaders, operators, security, IT, and technical teams to prioritize high-value automation use cases and move them from discovery to pilot to scaled adoption.
  • Help establish governance for AI-enabled workflows, including approval paths, human-in-the-loop controls, documentation standards, metrics, and safe operating boundaries.
  • Lead a process discovery engagement for a field service organization consolidating six independently built scheduling systems.
  • Facilitate workshops with operations leadership, dispatchers, schedulers, and field technicians to map current-state processes, identify waste, and produce actionable consolidation recommendations.
  • Demonstrated experience in asset-based field service or service operations (dispatch, scheduling, technician/crew workforce management)
