Our Client, a Japanese Chemical Manufacturer is looking for a Technical Operations Specialist for their Auto Film business.


Position: Technical Operations Specialist

Industry: Auto Film business in Chemicals

Location: Novi, MI (Hybrid)

Salary: DOE (up to 100k range)


Duties

  • Serve as a technical liaison between customers, suppliers, and Japan HQ to prevent manufacturing issues.
  • Review and improve processing conditions for decorative film products with customers.
  • Provide technical guidance on processes, equipment, and tools to new customers.
  • Develop marketing strategies by understanding industry trends and networking with stakeholders.
  • Visit manufacturing sites to investigate and resolve technical issues.
  • Support Sales staff in customer design studio visits.
  • Promote other products to the automotive industry.
  • Perform other assigned tasks.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in similar technical/customer-facing roles.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally; own vehicle required.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently.
  • Japanese skill is a plus.
