Role Summary

As we continue to grow, we are still looking to add additional individuals to our Sales Desk Team for a September start date.  We are looking to hire energetic and ambitious individuals into our vibrant, growing culture rooted in Servant Leadership.  Since our inception in 1848, we have been delivering on our promises to our customers.  Come be a part of our continued growth and success!

This position currently offers an onsite work schedule, with the expectation that you are in the office four days per week during onsite core days. Our current onsite core days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  The work schedule type and core days are subject to change with advance notification and manager discretion.

This position is eligible for a language differential in pay for approved bilingual skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide sales support for an external wholesaler (Field Leader).
  • Promote Life and Annuity products through webinars and inbound/outbound calls.
  • Manage inbound calls
  • Demonstrate proficiency in sales skills, identifying sales opportunities, and cross-selling skills with agents
  • Manage and execute effective outbound call campaigns
  • Be skilled at presenting in both small and large group settings
  • Capture all activity and agent profile information into Salesforce.com
  • Perform other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1-3 years financial services experience (preferred)
  • 3+ years successful sales experience (preferred)
  • Strong presentation skills as well as excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to the interests of the audience as well as use technical skills and people skills, on the phone and in person, to build relationships and help grow sales
  • Interpersonal Flexibility
  • Up to 10% travel required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Broad knowledge of capital markets
  • Previous experience with life and/or annuity illustration software 
  • Bachelor's degree 
  • Life and Health Licensed 
  • CLU, ChFC, CFP designations
