Job Description

The primary purpose of the PB Maintenance Mechanic is to perform all Predictive, Preventive and Corrective maintenance activities in order to maximize the assigned responsibility mechanical equipment availability, using the latest technology and technics. The Maintenance Mechanical Tech will deliver and appropriate and timely maintenance service to the Operation Area, in order to keep the equipment under a safe and trouble free operation. Additionally, the Maintenance Mechanic will be required to perform daily basis equipment inspection route and report. Further duties may include assisting Operation personnel, when requested, in the troubleshooting, repair, or preventive maintenance of equipment in order to support continuous operations on the production line.

Qualifications

Assist to Operation as scheduled or directed
Assist in the installation of all new equipment, components, and systems, or the improvement of existing equipment, components, and systems as required.
Maintain a safe and clean work place
Maximize the PB Plant mechanical equipment availability
Achieve, maintain, and strive to exceed all safety, quality, and productivity measurements for the assigned area of responsibility.
Ensure proper maintenance job to Mechanical Equipment in compliance with the highest standards, codes and safety regulations.
Perform routine mechanical inspections utilizing PDM check-sheets.
Maintain mechanical PM's records, work order feedback and labor charge in K-Soft system
Keep the spare parts needed to minimize the plant downtime( safety stock)
Keep the tools in a right condition to do the maintenance jobs.
Work closely with all team members, supervision, and leadership to identify, report, and correct existing or potential safety hazards, quality issues, productivity improvements, or cost reduction initiatives.
Read, comprehend, and follow all JHSAs, technical specifications, and work instructions for the assigned process task.
Comply with all Kronospan policies and procedures.
All other duties as assigned by supervisor or a member of leadership
Demonstrated commitment to zero incident safety culture, demonstrated application of precision mechanic installation and repairs, teamwork and continuous improvement attitude, ability to schedule and balance priorities, concentration and inspection details.
