Job Summary:
As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, working closely with the Lead Business Systems Analyst and key stakeholders, you will facilitate business process improvement, system development and enhancements, and applications support. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships with key individuals in the business, act as a liaison with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes and information systems while ensuring alignment to "The Manitowoc Way" and the company's goals/objectives. This position reports directly to the Lead Business Systems Analyst. The position will sit Shady Grove, Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Lead Business Systems Analyst and key stakeholders, facilitating business process improvement, system development and enhancements, and applications support.
  • Developing and maintain business relationships with key individuals in the business, act as a liaison with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes and information systems
  • Ensure alignment to "The Manitowoc Way" and the company's goals/objectives.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Experience supporting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as Baan or e-Emphasys highly desired to include experience implementing, managing change, and supporting complex interfaces between ERP and external systems.
  • Must have experience in project management in both waterfall and agile methodologies with projects exceeding $50,000 with the ability to both effectively manage and escalate issues with project scope, project risk, and project change.
  • Must demonstrate appropriate communication styles and approaches for success in a global organization structure. Communication skills with fluent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English language essential. Will be required to lead meetings and present to audiences of all levels to fulfill strategy and objectives. Must be capable of communicating effectively with vendors and service providers to represent the company's best interests.
  • Understanding of workforce analytics and dashboards configuration/management
  • Experience gathering/analyzing requirements and translating them into detailed functional specifications. Collaborating with developers for customized development.
    • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical personnel
    • Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley legislation and the execution of application-related controls is strongly desired.
    • Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally as required and have current passport.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems or Management of Information Systems with a minimum of 5 years' experience in Information Technology required. Will consider applicants with a high school diploma with a minimum of 13 years' experience in IT in lieu of degree.
  • 3 years of hands-on experience gathering/analyzing requirements and translating them into detailed functional specifications, process design, application design, collaborating with developers for customized development, testing (unit and regression), and application support required.

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Preferred experience within a global diverse manufacturer of eight hundred million or more in annual revenue
  • Secondary language skills are highly desired
