Summary of the Role:

Our Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the reliability, compliance, and operational readiness of production lines and facility equipment to support safe, efficient, and uninterrupted packaging operations. This role oversees line setups, changeovers, and production interruptions, coordinating with technical teams to minimize downtime while maintaining cGMP and quality standards. The Maintenance Supervisor leads and develops Maintenance Mechanics, ensuring maintenance activities are performed safely, scheduled appropriately, and completed on time to support production objectives. Additionally, the role manages capital equipment, facility improvement, and tooling projects, ensuring all initiatives meet regulatory, operational, budgetary, and timeline requirements.

Production Line Operations & Changeovers

  • Oversee and execute production line setup activities to ensure equipment readiness and compliance with pharmaceutical packaging requirements.
  • Manage batch and product changeovers efficiently to minimize downtime while maintaining quality and cGMP standards.
  • Coordinate response efforts during production interruptions, including engaging technical resources and reallocating personnel to restore operations quickly.

Equipment Reliability & Facility Support

  • Ensure all production, packaging, and facility equipment operates safely, reliably, and with minimal unplanned downtime.
  • Monitor equipment performance and initiate corrective actions to address operational issues and improve reliability.
  • Partner with operations and technical teams to maintain a production environment that supports quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Equipment Reliability & Facility Support

  • Partner with operations and technical teams to maintain a production environment that supports quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, or related engineering discipline) required.
  • At least one year of experience in a Pharmaceutical cGMP Manufacturing setting is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or consumer healthcare packaging.
  • Experience supporting automated packaging equipment, serialization systems, labeling equipment, cartoners, bottling lines, and ancillary utilities.
  • Demonstrated experience managing capital improvement, facility, equipment, utility, or construction projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required; experience with project management and scheduling tools preferred.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
