Sales Development Representative (SDR) - multiple openings available

Who we are
FLT designs and manufactures outdoor lighting for public places such as walkways, parks, and parking lots. Our solar lighting products don't require a connection to the grid, saving time, money and energy. And because of our proprietary technology, FLT's lights work right out of the box, producing reliable, quality light all night, every night.
The role
We're seeking a driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamicmarketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for
generating and qualifying leads while maintaining
strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.


Employment Type: Full-time permanent employee
Location: In Office
Hours: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
Reports to:
Marketing Manager
Salary: $50,000 CAD base plus commissions|
Start date: asap


Whatyou'll do

  • Generate leads through proactive prospecting, both cold and with existing contacts
  • Manage and support assigned leads throughout the sales cycle
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience through phone and email interactions
  • Nurture leads through the sales process, ensuring successful qualification
  • Qualify inbound leads to determine their quality and fit
  • Engage with contacts throughout the sales cycle, providing essential information for their success
  • Maintain accurate records and entries in our CRM system
  • Exceed daily, weekly, and monthly productivity and KPI metrics
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance sales effectiveness and drive overall sales development
  • Stay up-to-date with the FLT product line, technical specifications, pricing information, and competitor products
  • Handle various other duties as required
  • Ensure efficient sales support with vendor registrations and RFQs while maintaining deal hygiene
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and KPI targets


What you bring

  • 3+ years of proven B2B sales experience (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding lead generation targets
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (specifically Salesforce)
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
  • Self-motivation
    with a proactive business development mindset


Nice to have

  • Experience in lighting, solar, or construction industry sales
  • Experience with consultative selling approaches
  • Knowledge of vendor registration processes and RFQ procedures
