Certified Surgical Technologist - Travel Assignment
Location

This is a 13-week contract position.

7 A.M. - 7 P.M.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in ortho/joint procedures, and be skilled in handling a variety of surgical situations while ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with surgical procedures within the orthopedic and trauma settings.
  • Prepare and maintain the sterile field, ensuring that all surgical instruments and equipment are ready and functional.
  • Collaborate with surgical team members, including RNs, surgeons, and other support staff.
  • Perform post-operative care tasks as directed.
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 6 months current acute care hospital experience as a CST.
  • NBSTA and DORA Certifications required prior to submission.
  • BLS certification is mandatory.
  • Ortho/joint experience is a must; Level I and trauma experience preferred.
  • Prior Meditech experience is a plus.
