Job description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Development and implementation of HIPAA compliant information security policies and procedures.
  • Development and implementation of PCI DSS compliant policies and procedures.
  • Provides leadership to the technical support team.
  • Management of all desktop, internal networking, and group applications.
  • Overall responsibility for all day-to-day activities, monitoring of the infrastructure, and ensuring system availability 7x24x365
  • Advises and consults with business functions and/or locations on information technology requests, services, and capabilities.
  • Technical advisor to the Leadership Team and will be expected to stay current on the latest technology trends and innovation.
  • Manage third-party vendors and external contract and/or vendor resources as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related degree

EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of 5 years of information security experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role in a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure design and architecture across multiple distributed computing technologies including server, network, and storage technologies.
  • HIPAA and PCI DSS Security Experience
  • Experience in the medical field - terminology and processes

REQUIREMENTS

KNOWLEDGE
  • Solid background working with Microsoft server technologies and Active Directory.
  • Solid background in designing, managing, and implementing Microsoft Technologies such as SQL, Exchange, and Dynamics.

SKILLS
  • Client-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Skill in organizing daily work assignments.
  • Skill in managing staff with multiple work assignments and responsibilities.

ABILITIES
  • Ability to establish good working relationships with internal and external customers.
