Role Summary:
The GIS IT Security professional will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and improving IT security measures across supplier and organizational systems. This role ensures compliance with security frameworks, evaluates cyber risks, and supports continuous improvement of the security program.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct cybersecurity assessments of suppliers and internal systems, aligned with the supplier security control framework.
  • Evaluate IT controls, perform risk assessments, and identify gaps in security measures.
  • Drive risk remediations and improvements from previous audits or assessments.
  • Ensure successful completion of annual supplier cybersecurity assessments.
  • Advise and inform business leaders on supplier information security risks and recommend solutions.
  • Proactively plan and perform audit engagements focusing on security, confidentiality, data integrity, and availability.
  • Identify opportunities to innovate and improve the IT security program and its value delivery to the organization.
Required Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of IT controls, risk assessment, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Understanding of networking concepts and data protection practices.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify problems, and present conclusions effectively.
