Title: Program Manager – Data & Analytics Healthcare
Location: Philadelphia, PA (primarily remote)
Type: Contract, temp to perm
 
Description
Our direct client is seeking a Program Manager to support a Data & Analytics team within a large healthcare environment. This role partners with business leaders, data teams, and developers to deliver strategic data initiatives, with a primary focus on the Quality domain. The Program Manager acts as the central coordinator across stakeholders and technical teams, managing projects from intake through delivery. This individual will operate in a product-oriented capacity, helping define priorities, guide solutions, and ensure delivery of high-value analytics products such as dashboards, reporting solutions, and enterprise data initiatives.
 
Key Accountabilities:

  • Program & Project Delivery:
    • Lead initiatives end-to-end from intake through release (intake, prioritization, build, validation, training)
    • Manage multiple concurrent projects, focusing on strategic, enterprise-level work
    • Identify risks, resolve issues, and communicate status to stakeholders and leadership
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory:
    • Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to understand needs and define priorities
    • Act as a trusted advisor, recommending appropriate analytics/reporting solutions
    • Translate business requirements into actionable work for technical teams
  • Agile & Development Collaboration:
    • Work closely with development teams operating in a Scrum/Agile environment
    • Participate in ongoing team collaboration (e.g., daily touchpoints)
    • Serve in a product owner–like role (without formal Scrum Master responsibility)
  • Portfolio & Backlog Management:
    • Manage and prioritize a pipeline of requests ranging from minor enhancements to enterprise dashboards
    • Align work to strategic goals and maximize business value
    • Support KPI definition and creation of analytics solutions
  • Domain Expertise (Quality):
    • Develop subject matter expertise within the assigned domain
    • Guide stakeholders toward best-fit solutions (e.g., dashboards, reports, analytics tools)
    • Support enterprise data strategy, including establishing and using source of truth” datasets
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
    • Contribute to process improvements across program management and delivery workflows
    • Promote adoption of data, analytics, and emerging technologies such as AI

 
 
Required Skills:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Business or Clinical-related field
  • Healthcare provider / Electronic Medical Record (EMR) IT PM and/or data analytics experience is required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) and Product Owner certifications—or equivalent project management training—is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, project management, or product ownership
  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum preferred)
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and drive projects to completion

 
 
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with tools such as:
    • Power BI
    • Databricks
    • Jira
    • Smartsheet
  • Exposure to Epic (EMR) systems
  • Background working with or within technical / development teams
