Contingent upon award, AMPERSAND is seeking an Agile Program Manager to play a pivotal role within a customer and multi-contractor team. The Agile PM is responsible for leading the implementation of Agile methodologies to ensure the successful delivery of the Government customer's objectives. The ideal candidate must posses a robust understanding of Agile principles including:


  • Scrum methodologies
  • Kanban methodologies
  • Lean methodologies


In addition, the Agile PM must have a proven track record of successful leadership in Agile environments. This includes:


  • Ability and experience facilitating Agile ceremonies
  • Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives


The Agile PM will be expected to mentor team members in Agile practices, ensuring adherence to Agile frameworks while adapting to the unique needs of the supported Government organizations. 


The ideal candidate will have experience in managing complex Agile projects, showcasing their capability to navigate challenges and deliver results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Agile project management
  • NOTE - previous PEO STRI/CPE STRI SETA experience is NOT considered Agile requirements/experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, management, engineering, or other related fields.
  • Proven experience leading at least 3 Agile projects from inception to completion
  • Experience managing projects that involve cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success in projects that require rapid iteration and feedback loops, such as software development or product management.
  • Experience with Agile transformations within organizations, showcasing the ability to implement Agile practices at scale across multiple program offices and physical locations.
  • Ability to work with the customer on-site in Orlando, FL
  • Limited travel may be required
  • US Citizen


Desired Qualifications

  • 7 years in Agile project management (outside of PEO STRI / CPE ST3 experience)
  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, other relevant Agile certifications, Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Proven experience leading at least 5 Agile projects from inception to completion
  • Experience managing projects via Agile/SAFe methodologies for multiple use cases including programmatic, software development, foreign military sales, and complex product management tasks
  • Experience leading an Agile/SAFe transformation within a complex organization at a large scale
  • ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE w/ SCI ELIGIBILITY
