Group Summary:
The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.

Job Responsibilities:

  • $85,000 to $100,000 Annual
  • Manage the commercial position focusing on improvements to contribution margins.
  • Manages Customer performance metrics engaging the cross-functional teams, when necessary, to address product quality, scrap, efficiency, internal quality systems, cost and delivery performance issues, including overall product integrity.
  • Manage the Customer interface on a regular basis to resolve any commercial issues, outstanding engineering changes and product quality improvements.
  • Manage the Engineering Change process as it relates to programs of responsibility (established programs).
  • Generate and maintain project timelines, open issues and correspondence, where necessary, to drive continuous improvement (ie: productivity improvement - scrap reduction); tracking issues and their progress with solid targets and timing.
  • Facilitate, when necessary, resolution to issues with the individual manufacturing groups.
  • Communicate program information to Company Executive Team on monthly basis.
  • Ensure all PPAP deliverables are submitted by the product team and submit final PPAP to Customer.
  • Manage Customer tooling approval process to optimize cash flow.
  • Participate in new product PDTs and engage team members, when appropriate, to ensure a smooth and flawless launch and transfer of new program information timely.
  • Generate cost improvement opportunities through mandatory plant floor reviews with Program and Operational Teams.
  • Lead PDTs to drive current program deliverables and performance.
