JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective


This position has primary responsibility to properly execute receival, storage, pick, pack, and ship activities of pharmaceutical goods within the Direct Customer Solutions facility. This position reports to the Operations Manager.


Essential Functions
Primary responsibility for the execution of the following activities on a daily basis at Direct Customer Solutions including, but not limited to:

  1. Receiving of Pharmaceutical Goods (including inspection for damage, verification against incoming specifications, and handling per client requirements).
  1. Storage of Pharmaceutical Goods (including cycle counts, relocation, replenishment of the Single Level Pick System, etc.)
  1. Picking of Pharmaceutical Goods (includes picking items according to Pick List in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner)
  1. Packing of Pharmaceutical Goods (includes the packing of items into cases according to Pack List, adding dunnage to protect the items from damage, and sorting the cases according to shipping method)
  1. Shipping of Pharmaceutical Goods (includes arranging/scheduling the shipment of Goods according to the Pack List)
  1. Use of RF Scanners and other technologies for execution of the activities above.
  1. Load/Unload trucks, relocate pallets, and pick orders using forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks.

This position has no supervisory responsibility

Work Environment
This job operates in a climate-controlled warehouse setting. This role routinely uses material handling and packaging equipment, computers, handheld scanners, etc. Must be able to sit, stand, walk for 8 hours per day. Must be able to lift repetitively lift up to 50 lbs

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday during day shift hours. Evening and weekend overtime work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel
Limited travel may be required for training activities.

Required Education and Experience
1. High school diploma or equivalent; some post high school education is preferred.
2. At least 3 years of warehouse experience. Pharmaceutical and/or 3PL experience preferred
