Overview

Performs a variety of radiographic and fluoroscopy procedures in both an inpatient and an outpatient setting. The technologist will rotate between fixed and portable imaging and utilize an EMR for exam tracking.

The Rad Tech must be effective with communication, clinical skills, and able to work positively in a high stress environment with patients, peers, families and other internal / external personnel. The Rad Tech is responsible for carrying out the mission and goals of UF Health ONH and UF Health Shands, assuring that safety remains the highest priority throughout the patients care. In addition to providing diagnostic X-ray images, other duties will be assigned within the scope and licensure of the Rad Tech.
