JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

This position is for a high school teacher under contract with a district in Douglas, Dodge, Sarpy, or Washington counties to teach MCC Information Technology courses for dual credit at their home high school.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:

Deliver MCC course objectives in the high school dual credit classroom
Ensure academic rigor aligns with on-campus expectations
Participate in departmental course assessments
Complete required curriculum training
Maintain an MCC-aligned course syllabus
Uphold professional and ethical standards

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in the discipline or in a related discipline and 2 years full-time related occupational experience

OR

Associate's degree, current relevant industry certification, and 2 years full-time related occupational experience.

ForINFO1000 course: Bachelor's degree and 2 years full-time related occupational experience.
Currently employed high school teacher who will be under contract with a local school district in Douglas, Dodge, Sarpy or Washington counties
