IT Associate — Travel Sector

Location: West Los Angeles, CA — onsite Type: Full-time

We're hiring on behalf of a client in travel management. The role is the day-to-day technical resource for staff across the business; the person people come to when something isn't working.

The role
  • Handle incoming support requests by phone, email and ticket queue
  • Diagnose and fix laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, VPN and business applications
  • See tickets through to closure, passing complex items to senior staff or vendors
  • Set up and decommission accounts and equipment for joiners and leavers
  • Manage user accounts: resets, permissions, access requests
  • Keep the hardware inventory accurate and coordinate device rollouts
  • Coach staff on the tools they use and help with scheduled updates and maintenance
You'll need
  • 2–3 years in a help desk or IT support role at a travel agency or TMC. This is a firm requirement
  • Solid grasp of the platforms and workflows that run a travel business
  • Windows and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
  • Comfortable with VPN, Wi-Fi, printing and remote access
  • Prior use of a ticketing system
  • Patience and clear communication with non-technical colleagues
  • Driver's license, as branch visits are part of the job

Helpful: Active Directory, remote support tools, MFA and phishing basics, SaaS application support.

Occasional after-hours work and lifting of equipment. Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid leave and training support.
