A premier global law firm is seeking a Technology Transactions Associate Attorney to join its New York office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing technology companies, private equity sponsors, investment funds, life sciences companies, and multinational corporations in sophisticated technology, intellectual property, and commercial transactions.

Ideal Background

3–6 years of technology transactions experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

• Experience representing technology companies, software companies, life sciences companies, financial institutions, private equity sponsors, investment funds, and strategic buyers

• Experience drafting and negotiating software licensing agreements, SaaS agreements, cloud services agreements, technology development agreements, outsourcing agreements, data licensing agreements, commercial agreements, and intellectual property licenses

• Experience advising clients on technology, intellectual property, artificial intelligence (AI), data privacy, cybersecurity, open-source software, and digital platform matters

• Experience supporting the technology aspects of mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, venture capital financings, strategic investments, and other corporate transactions

• Experience conducting technology, intellectual property, privacy, and cybersecurity due diligence for complex transactions

• Familiarity with AI governance, data commercialization, fintech, digital health, cloud computing, and emerging technologies is a plus

• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
