IT Service Associate

Dalio Family Office Overview:

The Dalio Family Office (DFO) supports Barbara and Ray Dalio and their family in their ventures, investments, and philanthropic efforts under Dalio Philanthropies, which includes OceanX, Dalio Education, Endless Network, and the Beijing Dalio Foundation. The core of the DFO's culture is built around meaningful work and meaningful relationships and the family's commitment to giving back. The office is headquartered in Westport, CT with regional offices in New York City, Singapore, and Abu Dhabi.

Position Summary:

The goals of this position are to provide the Dalio Family Office and its stakeholders with high quality, dependable IT services that meet or exceed business requirements. This includes ensuring that DFO business stakeholders receive excellent support, identifying trends and making suggestions for technical modifications to resolve existing and future problems and helping to identify and manage risks associated with IT operations. This role requires a regular presence in both our New York City and Westport, CT offices, with time split between the two locations based on business needs, in line with our 3 to 5 day a week in office policy.

Day-to-day responsibilities would include a combination of the following:

  • Provide excellent day-to-day IT support services for the DFO
  • Provide support and leverage to DFO Service delivery lead in executing their responsibilities, including service provider and stakeholder management
  • Resolve help desk issues including troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Partner with the IT Service Delivery Lead and Head of IT to roll out new or improved capabilities within the DFO IT pillar
  • White glove support for key stakeholders and executives, including residential and travel-related IT support
  • Provide proactive executive support, including meeting readiness, device preparedness, and urgent issue resolution for priority stakeholders
  • On-call rotation participation as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • 3+ years of experience providing IT support in a fast-paced, professional environment, with a strong focus on end-user experience and operational excellence
  • Hands-on expertise supporting and troubleshooting Windows 11, macOS and iOS environments
  • Experience in ITIL or other IT frameworks strongly preferred
  • Prior experience with cloud-based platforms including Microsoft365, Azure, Okta, Zscaler or similar identity, security, and collaboration technologies
  • Demonstrated interest in leveraging emerging technologies including platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and other generative AI solutions

Compensation:

Compensation for the role includes a competitive salary in the range from $90,000-150,000 (inclusive of a merit-based bonus, dependent on years of experience, level of education obtained, as well as applicable skillset) and an excellent benefits package, including paid time off ranging from 15 to 25 days based on years of service, paid sick and safe leave, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid parental time off, birth mother recovery pay, sick family member pay, parental ramp back up program, gym reimbursement and generous employer match for 401k.
