JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Job Functions:
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States
  • Supervises, directs, and supports employees. Must be able to act as the working leader of a group of Employees, plan and lay out work, instruct and supervise the work of the group, return articles to service if required, as well as be a leader in the areas of continuous improvement, and safety. Set a professional example in all you do
  • Coordinates and prioritizes assigned areas and can work without close supervision
  • Has strong organizational skills and is able to respond to changing or multiple work demands
  • Provides technical support to his/her team and others in the operation
  • Coordinates with leadership on engineering or operational issues concerning assigned area
  • Plans, organizes, and supports work area
  • Promote continual process and operational improvement
  • Supports team concepts, drives safety, TAT and reduces cost of quality events
  • Support and enforce the company policies and procedures
  • Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all processes and procedures
  • Must have valid and current driver's license
  • Must be willing to work rotating or fixed shifts

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Demands: Requires standing for extended periods of time. Requires frequent walking, bending, and reaching to shoulder level. Requires occasional squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling weight up to 75 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Equipment Operated: Ability to operate office machines and equipment and troubleshoot problems with area specialized equipment. Ability to operate Hand tools, lathes, machine shop tools, balance machines.
Work Location: On-Site PAG Office
Protective Equipment Required: PPE as required for area tasks
Potential Hazards: Exposure to materials identified on Safety Data Sheets.

Education/Training: Possesses a high school diploma, GED or high school equivalency
Experience: Must have achieved "ATL level four technician" or sufficient experience in the work to be performed.
Certificates/Licenses: Must be certificated as a mechanic or repairman per part 65.
Other: Other duties may be assigned to support other departments, personnel or projects.
