Job Description
Physical Therapist Assistant adjunct instructor/lab assistant will work with PTA students in during lab courses as assigned by the Associate Dean of Health Science or Administrative Program Coordinator-PTA. PTA adjunct instructor/lab assistant will use appropriate teaching techniques for didactic and lab instruction while ensuring a safe and healthy work and learning environment complying with college and regulatory policies.
The individual will evaluate student progress in attaining course objectives, and use appropriate testing and grading procedures that is in alignment with the program and accreditation standards.
Please include State of Iowa PTA or PT licensure number on application (under skills and qualifications)
Location: Sioux City campus
Required Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or higher from an accredited institution
  • Licensed PT or PTA in good standing within the state of Iowa
  • At least one year of clinical experience in orthopedics
  • First Aid/CPR certification
