28 schools educating over
11,800 students . The school district employs over
1,500 full-time equivalent employees, including members of three unions.
Committed to academic excellence, FNSBSD provides a wide range of educational programs, extracurricular activities, and support services to meet the unique needs of each student. Our dedicated team of highly qualified teachers and staff is committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages personal growth and success.
Equipping students with the skills and knowledge necessary for their future endeavors is a key priority for us. We understand that the world is rapidly changing, and the skills required for success are evolving accordingly. Therefore, we adapt our curriculum and teaching methodologies to ensure students are equipped with the tools they need to excel when they leave our district. From innovative technology integration to project-based learning initiatives, we strive to provide a well-rounded education that prepares students for the challenges and opportunities they will encounter.
We firmly believe that families should have a voice and an active role in shaping their child's educational journey. We are committed to providing our families with options. Options for the education style their child will thrive in. Options at the school in which their child attends. Options with the programs in which their child engages. We value communication, collaboration, and partnerships between families and our district. By working together, we can create an environment where students thrive and achieve their full potential.
