Position Summary
UNM-Valenciais seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant 2 who will work in the NursingDepartment. The individual will provide administrative support and is the mainpoint of contact for the department. This person will be responsible forrelaying and resolving routine telephone and/or walk-up inquiries, studentquestions, and providing instructor assistance as needed, relating to theprogram. This position requires ability to communicate effectively, bothwritten and verbally, with faculty, students and staff.
Located about 30 miles south of Albuquerque in ruralValencia County, The University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus is a two-yearbranch campus of The University of New Mexico which functions as a communitycollege in the region and is designated a Hispanic Serving Institution. With an emphasis on teaching excellence, Valencia Campus offers academictransfer programs, technical programs, Adult Education, and Dual Credit coursesto high schools in Valencia and Socorro Counties. The faculty and staffserve a student body of approximately 2,000 students per semester.
