Job description

Life Skills Teaching Assistant
Must be willing and able to lift, position, toilet students with a variety of physical and health needs; able to work with students with autism and communication disorders; able to work with students with behavioral difficulties and physically restrain students at danger to self or others.
Teaching Assistants must hold an Illinois license as a ParaProfessional. 
 




This position falls under the Decatur Federation of Teaching Assistants (DFTA) Contract.
