Position Details:
Patient Population: Newborn & Pediatric Patients
Setting: Newborn Nursery & Pediatric Hospital Medicine Program
Responsibilities: Providing newborn nursery examinations, circumcisions, pediatric inpatient care, resident and medical student education, and collaborative newborn care within a multidisciplinary pediatric hospitalist team
Required Procedures: Newborn Examinations & Circumcisions
EMR System: Hospital EMR System
Support Staff: Neonatologists, Pediatric Intensivists, Newborn Nursing Staff & Certified Lactation Specialists
Days Per Month: Full-Time Coverage Required
On-Call/Weekends: No On-Call Required
