Early Childhood Teacher – 2-Year-Old Classroom
Location: The Learning Experience – Bristow, VA
Pay: $17–$20 per hour (based on experience)

The Learning Experience – Bristow is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our 2-Year-Old (Prepper) classroom.
Two is an exciting age! Our teachers help children build language skills, independence, confidence, and positive social relationships while introducing more structured early learning experiences through play, exploration, and consistent classroom routines.
If you have professional childcare experience and love working with energetic young learners, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
  • Lead and support daily routines for children in our 2-Year-Old classroom
  • Implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities using The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
  • Encourage early language, communication, cognitive, and social-emotional development
  • Help children develop independence with classroom routines and self-help skills
  • Provide positive guidance and support successful classroom transitions
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment
  • Build strong relationships with children and communicate regularly with families
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership
  • Follow Virginia childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Previous professional childcare, daycare, or preschool experience required

  • Experience working with toddlers or two-year-olds strongly preferred
  • CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Patient, reliable, energetic, and team-oriented
  • Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements
