At Acelero Learning Delaware, we believe that every classroom needs a strong team-and we're looking for a caring, collaborative Teacher Assistant to join ours. In this role, you'll support Head Start Teachers to create a joyful, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children ages 3-5.

What You'll Do

As a Teacher Assistant, you will:

  • Support classroom routines, instruction, and transitions throughout the day.

  • Foster a safe and nurturing space for children to learn and grow.

  • Help implement a child-centered curriculum that encourages exploration and creativity.

  • Assist with documentation and observation of children's progress.

  • Model positive interactions, language, and behavior.

  • Build respectful, trusting relationships with children, families, and coworkers.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; CDA or related coursework in ECE preferred.

  • Bilingual Spanish is preferred.

  • Pass a physical exam and background check.

  • Valid driver's license or reliable transportation required.
