Job Description:
Job Overview
This position will be responsible for setting up and running the extrusion machine and performing quality checks to verify finished material is in compliance with quality specifications. Daily interfacing with the Planning/Scheduling team to forecast downstream product needs. Regular communication with Maintenance and Engineering to address machine performance issues when needed.
Job Requirements
  • Experience with machine set-up is highly preferred
  • Basic machine shop knowledge and ability is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to utilize inspection equipment to measure products for conformance.
  • Working knowledge of hand tools
  • Experience with SAP is preferred but not required

What your background should look like
  • High School Diploma / GED (or years of experience) Required
  • Must be able to lift/push/pull and carry a minimum weight of 30 lbs.
  • Frequently required to extend arms and hands between knees & shoulders; frequent holding and grasping with hands.
  • Frequent standing and walking is required in this job.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $21.00 - $23.00/Hour + 10% Shift Differential - Depending on Experience (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
