Job description

JOB TITLE:Driver

As a Driverfor Tireco Distributors (TD),youwillbetheface of our companyand on the front linesdeliveringtheessentialproducts that keep our countryrolling. Youwillberesponsiblefor thesafedeliveryoftires andwheelsusinga company vehiclewhileproviding friendly and professional customer service, loading and unloading product, collecting payments, managing product returns, and maintaining your assigned vehicle. Although you will be delivering most of the time, you will also assist in the warehouse orders, loading and unloading trucks, and operating equipment such as forklift.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Possess a valid standard driver's license, some states may require a Class D license -No CDL required
  • Meet requirements for DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical, be at least 21 years, eligible and willing to cross state lines for deliveries as required
  • Ability to be insured under company driving policy
  • Ability to safely operate a box truck and a clamp forklift
  • Ability to manually move tiresbetween30- 80lbsdaily.80lbs+ requires a team lift
  • Preferred - 2+years experiencesafely operating abox truck
