Financial Services Representative

Work Location: Fully Onsite
Industry: Banking / Financial Services

Experience Required: 2–3+ years of recent banking or financial services experience

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Financial Services Representative to join a growing banking team in a fully onsite capacity. This position will work directly with customers to assist with their everyday banking needs, provide exceptional customer service, and recommend financial products and services based on individual needs.


The ideal candidate will have at least 2–3 years of recent experience working within a bank, credit union, or similar financial institution and be comfortable handling customer transactions, opening accounts, discussing banking products, and identifying opportunities to strengthen customer relationships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional in-person customer service and assist customers with their banking needs.
  • Open and maintain checking, savings, and other deposit accounts.
  • Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments, and other banking transactions.
  • Educate customers on available banking products and services.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate financial products and solutions.
  • Assist with consumer banking products such as credit cards, personal loans, auto loans, and other lending products as applicable.
  • Resolve customer questions, account concerns, and service issues professionally and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate customer and account information while following banking policies and procedures.
  • Follow all applicable banking regulations, compliance requirements, and security procedures.
  • Build strong customer relationships and contribute to branch sales and service goals.


Qualifications

  • 2–3+ years of recent banking, credit union, or financial services experience required.
  • Previous experience as a Financial Services Representative, Personal Banker, Universal Banker, Relationship Banker, Member Service Representative, or similar role strongly preferred.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Previous sales or consultative selling experience preferred.
  • Comfortable discussing and recommending financial products and services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to accurately handle financial transactions and confidential customer information.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must be comfortable working fully onsite.
  • Ability to work within standard banking/branch hours, including Saturdays if required.
