Job description

Requirements: Licensed in the State of Florida for at least 3 years or more Must be 21 years old or older Must have own vehicle and it must be able to accommodate up to 4 Passengers and 3 large pieces of luggage (acceptable cars are 4 door sedans, town cars, SUV, minivan, explorer, navigator and the like) Your vehicle must be at least 2005 or newer in excellent condition (a transport supervisor will inspect before offered contract) Be able to pass a criminal background check with no driving offenses or felonies Have current insurance policy at State of Florida minimums (10/20/10) Android phone to be able to use our dispatch, phone system and credit card processing applications Be able to introduce our service to hotels and other locations that may need transportation assistance (you would declare a territory for this based upon your zip code - you would set the rates based upon the rate chart we use to determine fares) Things you need to know: Insurance policy must be kept up to date (commercial insurance is not required, this is the same as if you were delivering pizza or newspapers only standard insurance is required - however; you may if you choose to get liability insurance which is about $250.00/year for a million dollar policy) You will be required to take a driving test with a member of our management TEAM Be able to be on call in case of same day reservations (this includes 24/7/365 on call status - including nights, weekends and holidays as we never know when a call will come in to be dispatched) Pay is by contract and is payable at 70% of the total trip cost -- tips are 100% yours too keep - tolls and parking are chargeable to the passenger and yours 100% to keep (Average trip with pay + tip is about $62.55 - depends on rate type, distance and other factors - our minimum normal rate is $33.00 to start a driver unless passenger mentions a promotional offer we are running at that time - we do charge 20% gratuity for all charter services) We service Citrus, Hernando, Pasco, Pinellas, Manatee, Sarasota, Hillsborough and Polk Counties plus Orlando International Airport (OIA is only if the passenger is coming in to our service territory or out of our service territory) Fuel and insurance are your responsibility and not reimbursed -- but are tax deductible at end of year We will also provide you with discounted travel on flights, hotels, cruises, etc as they become available to us as we are also a full service travel agency
