FAA, TSA & Other Federal Guidelines - Compliance Specialist for an Airport Terminal IT Programs
Position Overview:
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking a skilled FAA, TSA and Other Federal Guidelines Compliance Specialist to support large-scale Airport Terminal technology programs delivered within a major U.S. international airport(s).
The specialist will ensure that all TCS technology solutions, IT systems, and operational processes meet the regulatory requirements of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and Other Federal Guidelines as applicable to TCS as an IT Service Provider.
This role requires deep expertise in federal aviation and security regulations and the ability to guide IT project teams, airport stakeholders, and partner organizations to ensure regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary regulatory compliance advisor for all TCS-delivered Airport IT systems and solutions.
• Ensure IT applications, integrations, networks, and security systems comply with FAA, TSA and other applicable regulatory standards and directives.
• Interpret, track, and communicate regulatory updates that may affect airport operations or TCS technology implementations.
• Conduct compliance assessments across technology domains such as access control, identity management, network architecture, communications, operational technology, and surveillance systems as needed from time to time.
• Maintain audit-ready regulatory documentation and evidence repositories.
• Coordinate closely with airport authorities, airlines, security partners, and external contractors to ensure alignment with federal compliance expectations.
• Provide training and guidance to TCS delivery teams regarding aviation compliance obligations and processes.
• Identify compliance gaps, develop remediation plans, and track corrective actions to closure.
• Prepare compliance reports, dashboards, and risk assessments for internal and external governance bodies.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Security Management, Information Technology, Regulatory Compliance, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant experience working with FAA/TSA/Other federal regulations with respect to airport terminal technology systems or IT transformation programs
• Strong command of FAA and TSA security programs, airport operational standards, and federal regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
• Prior experience supporting aviation IT programs within large U.S. airports.
• Knowledge of airport IT ecosystems, including systems such as IAM, CCTV, AODB, BHS, CUPPS/CUSS, access control, and operational technology platforms.
• Familiarity with large-scale terminal development or modernization programs.
• Relevant industry certifications such as ACE-Security, ASC, or FAA-focused credentials.
