Experienced QA Automation Engineer with 5-7 years of hands-on expertise in test automation, quality assurance, and software testing across web and client applications. Proficient in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium, with strong capabilities in UI, API, and database testing.
Adept at working in Agile environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality software delivery through comprehensive test coverage and defect management.
Key Skills & Experience
5-10 years of experience in Automation Testing with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright and Selenium.
Proven experience in creating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and debugging automated test scripts and frameworks.
Strong experience in UI, API, and Database Automation Testing using industry-standard automation tools.
Must be proficient in Typescript/JavaScript Good understanding of relational databases with the ability to write, execute, and analyze SQL queries for test validation.
Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as HP ALM, ALM Octane, Jira, or similar platforms.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with active participation in sprint planning, test estimation, execution, and retrospectives.
Skilled in analyzing business requirements and preparing detailed test scenarios and test cases to ensure complete functional coverage.
Experience in testing both web-based and client/server applications.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing lifecycle, defect lifecycle management, and software quality best practices.
