Key Responsibilities
Strategic Migration Ownership: Lead the migration of existing test suites from Selenium Java to Playwright. Evaluate, design, and implement a robust automation architecture that prioritizes long-term maintainability over quick fixes.
Framework Stewardship: Own the "health" of the AuthHub automation framework. Proactively perform maintenance, refactor aging components, and refine existing patterns to ensure the framework remains highly performant and reliable.
Technical Discovery Research: Conduct deep-dive technical research into complex automation hurdles. Evaluate potential solutions by assessing their long-term impact on system sustainability, ensuring we avoid technical debt and "shortcut" engineering.
Setting Engineering Standards: Establish and enforce best-in-class coding standards, file structures, and design patterns. Act as the teams technical anchor, driving high-quality code through rigorous peer reviews and mentorship.
AI-Driven Innovation: Architect and build intelligent AI agents and custom instructions to bridge gaps within the automation ecosystem, accelerating testing velocity and reducing manual intervention.
Required Qualifications
Engineering Expertise: Extensive experience in test automation frameworks (Selenium/Java) and proven experience in migrating or building modern frameworks using Playwright (Java).
Architectural Mindset: Ability to think beyond the immediate task; demonstrated history of making technical decisions that balance short-term delivery with long-term framework sustainability.
Code Quality Leadership: Strong passion for clean code, modular architecture, and documentation. You are comfortable defining team-wide standards and enforcing them through constructive, high-impact code reviews.
Innovation Tooling: Familiarity with AI tools and LLM-based automation (e.g., building agents, prompts, or custom workflows) to solve complex technical bottlenecks.
Analytical Rigor: Excellent research and diagnostic skills, with the ability to articulate technical debt trade-offs to stakeholders.
Exposure to Authentication and Identity technologies
Domain knowledge in consumer and retail banking
Exposure and able to build AI tools
