LOCATION: TUCSON, AZ
RATE RANGE: 75.00-80.00 PER HOUR

Core Technical Skills (Non-negotiables)
Experience with digital, analog, RF and/or mixed signal testing and/or debugging complex circuit card assemblies and/or electro-mechanical systems
Experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, power supplies, etc.
Ability to interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and BoMs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
3rd - 11pm to 8am
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Project Overview EE team who supports production to resolve issues and keep the hardware builds moving forward. Position Overview Responsibilities include the ability to make a quick assessment of a problem, identify additional information required, understand the resources available, compare the urgency of the issue to other failures/issues, and to take the understanding of these parts and create a path for troubleshoot and/or correction and final resolution. Then it is required to be able to communicate this plan to a cross functional team with diverse backgrounds. And lastly to continue to drive updates and status of this plan along the way.
Key deliverables for this role Change documentation preparation and presentation Hardware troubleshooting Own and manage an issue project to completion What does success look like for this role? Able to solve problems quickly and correctly, communicate effectively across multiple teams, take ownership to see a task to completion in a timely manner
Desired Skills (Nice-to-Have) o Experience supporting production engineering activities involving electrical or mechanical hardware o Background in designing electronic or electro optical subsystems, including circuit design, assembly processes, and fabrication practices o Familiarity with engineering and analysis tools across electrical design, simulation, and measurement domains o Experience with subsystem integration, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement methodologies o Ability to work independently or within small teams while providing technical guidance, coordination, and project oversight Day-to-Day Responsibilities Resolve production and supplier issues, including troubleshooting and coordinating corrective actions Maintain and update technical drawings and documentation, including preparing change packages for review boards Diagnose hardware failures using a range of electronic test equipment and analysis tools Evaluate defect and yield data to drive process improvements and reduce recurring failures Collaborate with suppliers, create Statements of Work, and support general electrical engineering activities in production environments
Years of Experience Required 5 to 10 years
Education Required BSEE or equivalent
