Position
Under the direct supervision of a certified staff member, assist certified professional staff with students in the classroom to meet instructional goals and objectives.
Qualifications Profile
-  High School diploma or equivalent.
-  Successful completion of 60 college level credits preferred but not required.
-  Prior experience working with special needs children desirable.
In addition to Board of Education approval and the completion of required documentation, see below for requirements to be a substitute at Franklin Borough School:
1.  Complete Criminal History Review with the Office of Student Protection: https://www.nj.gov/education/crimhist/. 
2.  Provide Documentation of Mantoux test with date and results. Please provide your most recent Mantoux/TB result per guidance from the NJ DOE: "TB testing is not recommended for new employees, student teachers, and contractors of the district with a documented tuberculosis test result, regardless of when this test was done. Repeat TB testing is not required in the absence of a known or suspected exposure to active and infectious TB disease or unless otherwise ordered by a licensed clinician."
