US Tax Accounting, LLC is a Naples-based accounting firm dedicated to high-integrity tax preparation, planning, and advisory services for individuals, fiduciaries, and business entities nationwide. Our firm is grounded in traditional values, fiduciary excellence, and a relentless focus on compliance and client service. We are expanding our in-office team in Anchorage, AK and seeking experienced professionals who want to grow with a firm that values competence, discretion, and precision.

Position Summary:

We are currently hiring a Tax Preparer for complex individual, trust, and business tax returns. This role is in-office/hybrid at our Anchorage, AK location and will support our growing client base with a focus on year-round engagement—not just seasonal throughput.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review individual (1040), trust (1041), and business (1120, 1120S, 1065) returns.
  • Advise clients on tax planning, IRS correspondence, and compliance matters.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, investment advisors, and fiduciaries on client accounts.
  • Maintain current knowledge of tax laws and regulatory updates impacting federal and Florida tax matters.
  • Ensure all filings meet internal quality standards and deadlines.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professional ethics in all aspects of service.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of direct tax preparation experience.
  • Proficiency in tax software (Drake, UltraTax, or similar) and QuickBooks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with fiduciary or estate/trust taxation is preferred but not required.
  • Commitment to in-office presence and availability during business hours.
