Tax, Trusts & Estates Associate

Based in Boca Raton, FL, we are a nationally recognized law firm known for its client-focused approach collaborative culture and commitment to delivering practical results. The Tax Trusts & Estates practice is expanding and seeking an experienced Associate to join a growing team advising high-net-worth individuals families business owners fiduciaries and institutional clients on complex estate planning tax strategy trust administration and wealth preservation matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned private client attorney who values direct client interaction sophisticated advisory work and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment. This position offers a competitive base salary of $220,000–$320,000 plus performance bonus and comprehensive benefits.


Responsibilities

  • Advise high-net-worth individuals and families on sophisticated estate planning and wealth preservation strategies while drafting and reviewing wills trusts advanced estate planning documents and related tax planning instruments with accuracy and efficiency
  • Counsel clients on federal and state tax matters involving estate gift generation-skipping transfer and income taxation while conducting legal research and staying current on evolving tax and estate planning laws and regulations
  • Assist with trust and estate administration matters probate proceedings and fiduciary representation while supporting business succession planning and family office-related matters
  • Collaborate with attorneys across corporate tax real estate and litigation practice groups on multi-disciplinary matters while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering practical and strategic legal guidance


Qualifications

  • JD from an accredited law school with active FL Bar admission in good standing; LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning preferred; strong academic credentials required
  • 3+ years of experience in tax trusts & estates estate planning or related private client matters with demonstrated experience advising high-net-worth individuals families and fiduciaries preferred
  • Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
  • Strong drafting analytical and communication skills with the ability to independently manage sophisticated matters while collaborating effectively within a team-oriented environment
