The artist consults with clients to develop designs, applies tattoos using professional equipment and techniques, and ensures compliance with health and sanitation regulations.Key Responsibilities: Consult with clients to understand their tattoo ideas, preferences, and placement requests. Create original tattoo designs and modify existing artwork to meet client needs. Apply tattoos safely and professionally using proper tattooing techniques. Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized workstation at all times. Follow all local health department regulations and infection-control procedures. Educate clients on tattoo aftercare and healing processes. Manage appointment scheduling and maintain accurate client records and consent forms. Stay current on tattoo trends, techniques, and industry best practices. Assist with studio cleanliness, inventory management, and equipment maintenance. Build and maintain a professional portfolio showcasing artistic work.Qualifications: Valid Tattoo Artist license/certification (as required by state or local regulations).
