What jobs can you do with tattoos?

Tattoo-friendly jobs include roles in creative industries such as art, design, and entertainment, where visible tattoos are often accepted or encouraged. Many customer service, retail, and hospitality positions also allow tattoos, especially in casual or modern workplaces, though some corporate or professional environments may have dress code policies restricting visible tattoos. Skills, workplace culture, and industry standards influence tattoo acceptance in various jobs.

What is a Tattoo Friendly job?

A tattoo-friendly job is a workplace that accepts and allows employees to have visible tattoos without discrimination. These jobs do not require employees to cover their body art and often embrace personal expression. Industries like creative arts, hospitality, tech, and trades are more likely to be tattoo-friendly. However, policies vary by company, so it's best to check an employer's dress code before applying.

What jobs make $3,000 a day?

High-earning jobs such as specialized surgeons, senior corporate executives, and successful entrepreneurs can earn $3,000 or more per day. In creative fields like tattoo artistry, top professionals with a strong reputation and high client volume may reach this level, especially with premium pricing and multiple sessions daily.

What jobs have tattoo restrictions?

Tattoo restrictions vary by industry and employer. Jobs in healthcare, law enforcement, military, and corporate settings often have policies limiting visible tattoos, especially on the face, neck, or hands, to maintain a professional appearance. However, many creative fields, trades, and tech companies have more relaxed or no tattoo policies, allowing individuals to display tattoos freely.

What types of workplaces typically advertise themselves as 'Tattoo Friendly,' and what does that mean for my daily work experience?

Tattoo Friendly workplaces are usually found in industries like retail, hospitality, the arts, fitness, and creative services, where self-expression is encouraged and visible tattoos are accepted or even appreciated. In these environments, you can expect a diverse and inclusive atmosphere where personal style—such as tattoos and piercings—is not a barrier to employment or advancement. Daily responsibilities are generally similar to those in non-tattoo-friendly roles, but you'll have greater freedom regarding dress code and appearance. This supportive setting fosters a welcoming team culture and can make interactions with teammates and clients more authentic. Choosing a Tattoo Friendly workplace can support both your career and your individuality.

What is the 1/3 rule tattoo?

The 1/3 rule in tattooing refers to the guideline that no more than one-third of a tattoo should be covered in a single session to allow proper healing and reduce skin damage. Tattoo artists often advise spreading large designs over multiple sessions to ensure quality and skin health, especially for jobs like tattoo friendly roles that may require visible tattoos. Proper aftercare and communication with the artist are essential for successful results.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Tattoo Friendly position, and why are they important?

Tattoo Friendly positions typically require strong customer service skills, an open-minded attitude, and professionalism in client interactions, with no specific formal qualifications mandated. Familiarity with basic point-of-sale systems, scheduling software, or reception tools may be useful, depending on the business setting. Adaptability, cultural sensitivity, and effective communication are valuable soft skills for excelling in environments that welcome visible tattoos. These qualities help ensure a respectful, inclusive experience for both employees and clients in workplaces that celebrate individuality.

ABOUT SLOOMOO

Sloomoo celebrates joy through an interactive experiential world, focused on slime, hands-on play, and all things #satisfying. Sloomoo launched in October of 2019 with an immersive 12,000 square-foot experience in Soho, NYC, where hand-crafted, artisanal slime (dozens of textures and the most delicious scents), soothing ASMR, and wondrous delights (you can slingshot slime, walk on slime, design your own slime, and more) converge with glossy, contemporary design.

Sloomoo’s universe has expanded - there are now a total of 5 Institutes (NYC, LA, Houston, Chicago, Atlanta) and two MiniMoos (Boston, Philadelphia) with more to come.

MiniMoos are smaller than the Institutes but packed with as much color, surprise, and play.

The brand has been featured in People Magazine, Vogue, the Today Show, the Kelly Clarkson Show, the Tamron Hall Show, Forbes, INC, and more.

The mission: Deliver joy, whether you’re a kid or kid-at-heart.
