Support Marine Corps Training Systems Modernization

In this role, you will be at the forefront of range innovation, supporting the Ground Range Sustainment Program (GRSP) and coordinating the development and delivery of next-generation training systems across Marine Corps installations.

Position Summary

The RTSS Administrator provides technical, analytical, and coordination support to the Range Training Systems section in support of Marine Corps training systems modernization efforts. This role supports installation training systems, capability development, and enterprise-level coordination across multiple Marine Corps, DoD, and joint stakeholders.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Support development and sustainment of the Ground Range Sustainment Program (GRSP) through data collection, analysis, and documentation.

  • Support development and maintenance of the Range Training Systems Program (RTSP).

  • Provide technical and analytical support for U.S. Marine Corps training systems, equipment, and planning documents to assess requirements, identify solutions, and evaluate investment strategies for Range Training Areas (RTAs), including joint operations, Opposing Forces (OPFOR), and space-based considerations.

  • Coordinate with key stakeholders including Marine Corps Operational Test and Evaluation Activity, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Sea Systems Command, USMC Installations, Joint Services, and Combatant Commands.

  • Draft and support development of RTA Capability and Requirements documentation including Requirements Memorandums, Capabilities Development Documents, Capability Requirements Changes, and Letters of Clarification.

  • Conduct GRSP and RTSP site visits to assist installations in developing, validating, and tracking training system requirements.

  • Conduct quarterly liaison visits with Program Manager Training Systems (PMTRASYS) to reconcile RTA requirements and program status.

  • Coordinate, develop, and execute annual GRSP/RTS prioritization boards including drafting tasking messages, collecting inputs, developing agendas, synthesizing installation inputs, and producing final prioritized lists for CG TECOM signature.

Minimum QualificationsClearance
  • Active Secret security clearance required.

Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; OR

  • High School Diploma with a minimum of four (4) years of RTAM or range-related experience.

Experience
  • Prior experience supporting Range Training Systems, GRSP/RTSP programs, or PMTRASYS coordination highly preferred.

  • Experience with military training systems, requirements development, or capability planning strongly desired.

  • Familiarity with DoD/USMC acquisition, requirements, or training system governance processes is a plus.
