Are you a Wine, Beer or Spirit Geek?

Come have fun with us at Grapes & Grains, Inc. an award-winning boutique wine, spirit and craft beer shop located in Barrington, R.I.
We are looking for a new member to join our highly admired beverage team who is energetic, enthusiastic, self-starting, task-oriented and friendly.
This is a great opportunity to learn about the beverage industry.
Bottle Shop Assistant duties include but are not limited to; supporting buyers, showroom maintenance, branding bags, bottle maintenance, cashier, and shipping. Creating an upbeat environment and demonstrate the ability to interact comfortably with customers.
Product training and testing to help develop a working knowledge of wine, beer and spirits is ongoing.
This part-time position. On average, 10 - 20 hours/week with evening and weekend shifts to be expected. Flexibility is key. Compensation will depend on experience, education and sales ability. Candidates will need to be able to spend the majority of their shift on their feet and must be able to comfortably lift 40 lbs. TIPS certification and Barrington Liquor Training required. Prior Retail or Restaurant experience is preferred.
Skills required: organized, systematic, detail-oriented, merchandising, team player, showroom awareness, personality, events, demonstrate the ability to take the initiative and maintain shop standards.
