If you are a Graphic Designer with serious creativity and a desire to make a difference with your work, this job is for you. Rimports does not look for a specific number of years' experience or any cookie-cutter qualification: we need a talented creator who fits into our team and wants to work hard, have fun, and solve challenging design problems. We are expanding our team and need a team player who can overcome obstacles and take our creative to a new level.

The selected applicant will be a high-energy person who brings an open mind and new design thought to packaging, merchandising and other needed projects. We want to see a portfolio of innovative design solutions and proven creativity to expand our abilities. If you have a maverick design streak inside a team-player body, this position is for you!

Duties:

  • Create design concepts for brand-new product and packaging projects.
  • Develop layout and production designs for packaging, presentations, and merchandising displays.
  • Have a good understanding of creating attractive and exciting social media and website imagery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years relevant work experience
  • Skill in generating original design concepts, developing multiple iterations, refining designs, and producing final production-ready artwork.
  • Proficiency presenting and defending design concepts to management.
  • Experienced with all Adobe Suite programs: Illustrator, PhotoShop and inDesign.
  • Familiarity with Mac OSX
  • Experience with both product and lifestyle photography as well as studio lighting
  • A good understanding of current design trends
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint & creating product presentations.
  • Proficient in self-editing graphic design work (accuracy in creative placement, spelling, grammar, formatting, etc.)
  • A sense of humor, strong work ethic, and great interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management skills to manage multiple tasks and completing deadlines.
  • Photography skills is a PLUS.

Bonus Skills:

  • Previous experience designing product packaging
  • Experience with 3D design and/or CAD software
