Reports to: Operations Manager

Job Class: (MA) Manufacturing Associate

Summary: Assembly and test of Air-Weigh products

Hours: 8 hours per day, Monday thru Friday. Overtime as required.

Educational Requirements:

High School education or GED

Core Competencies & Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to read and understand prints and work instructions

Ability to accurately follow part numbers and count inventory correctly

Detail oriented, high attention to detail and quality

Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)

Desire to work with hands and assemble product

Ability to utilize hand tools such as screwdrivers, solder iron and wire stripper

Good hand dexterity

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Willingness to cross train, job rotate and train other associates

Able to positively contribute to a team work environment

Basic computer skills

Identify quality issues, stop action and involve management when necessary

Other Competencies and additional qualifications/experience preferred:

Experience soldering wires or circuit boards

Shipping, Receiving, inventory control

Data entry

Experience in an ISO9001 environment

Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment
