The Megahub Parts Distribution Manager will serve as the senior site leader responsible for directing the end-to-end operations of the Metro-Detroit Megahub Distribution Center. This role leads the multiple operational, customer-facing, labor, and support functions housed within the 2.1M square-foot facility, ensuring the timely replenishment of the regional tier Parts Distribution Center network, fulfillment of rest-of-world export orders, and delivery of direct customer support across all commercial portfolios for the Parts & Services Organization in North America.

The position is accountable for enabling service excellence, operational discipline, and continuous improvement in support of approximately $5–$6B per annum in retail and wholesale sales targets and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all Megahub distribution operations, including inbound receiving, inventory flow, storage optimization, picking, packing, shipping, export fulfillment, emergency order response, and regional PDC replenishment.
  • Drive customer prioritization and service execution to ensure critical, emergency, wholesale, retail, dealer, and direct-facing customer orders are managed with the appropriate urgency, accuracy, and visibility.
  • Oversee site budget management, including labor planning, operating expense control, productivity performance, capital needs, and cost improvement initiatives.
  • Provide leadership for labor relations within the facility, partnering with Human Resources and union/labor stakeholders to support workforce stability, contract adherence, issue resolution, and a positive employee relations climate.
  • Champion Customer Voice of the Customer feedback, translating service gaps, dealer needs, escalation themes, and customer insights into operational countermeasures and measurable improvements.
  • Establish and manage performance standards across safety, quality, productivity, inventory accuracy, service levels, shipping performance, on-time fulfillment, and cost efficiency.
  • Lead continuous improvement across the Megahub operation by identifying process bottlenecks, improving flow, strengthening standard work, reducing waste, and enabling scalable operating practices.
  • Coordinate closely with Parts & Services leadership, supply chain, transportation, purchasing, customer care, field operations, finance, and commercial teams to align Megahub performance with broader North America business objectives.
  • Develop, coach, and hold accountable a high-performing leadership team capable of managing a large-scale, complex, multi-shift distribution environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, regulatory requirements, material handling procedures, and operational control processes.
Key Decisions and Main Accountabilities
  • Customer Prioritization: Determine order escalation, allocation, and fulfillment priorities across regional PDC replenishment, export demand, emergency orders, and direct customer requirements.
  • Budget Management: Manage operating budgets, labor spend, overtime, productivity levers, and cost-control initiatives to support financial targets.
  • Labor Relations: Make site-level decisions that support contract compliance, workforce engagement, issue resolution, and effective partnership with HR and labor representatives.
  • Customer VOC: Translate customer feedback into operational actions that improve service quality, responsiveness, and customer confidence.
  • Critical and Emergency Orders: Establish decision paths and escalation protocols to ensure urgent parts requirements are fulfilled quickly and accurately.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead ongoing improvement of business processes, material flow, facility utilization, and operational performance across the 2.1M square-foot Megahub.
  • Strategic operational leadership with the ability to connect site performance to enterprise business objectives.
  • Strong customer orientation and ability to balance service urgency, network priorities, and operational capacity.
  • Financial discipline and ability to manage labor, cost, productivity, and investment decisions.
  • Effective labor relations judgment, communication, and conflict-resolution capability.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with experience driving standard work, process optimization, and measurable performance gains.
  • Executive presence and ability to influence across commercial, supply chain, field, finance, HR, and operations stakeholders.
  • Talent development capability with a focus on accountability, engagement, safety, and leadership bench strength.
Success Measures
  • Achievement of safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and employee engagement targets.
  • Improved order fulfillment performance for regional PDC replenishment, export demand, direct customer orders, and critical/emergency requirements.
  • Effective budget performance, labor utilization, and cost-improvement delivery.
  • Positive labor relations climate and timely resolution of workforce issues.
  • Measurable improvement in Customer VOC themes, service responsiveness, and escalation closure.
  • Successful implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across facility flow, space utilization, process stability, and operational efficiency.
Position RequirementsBasic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in distribution, logistics, warehousing, supply chain, manufacturing operations, or automotive aftermarket operations.
  • Experience leading large-scale, multi-function, and multi-shift operations with responsibility for safety, quality, delivery, cost, people, and customer performance.
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, labor planning, productivity performance, operational KPIs, and cross-functional business priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse management systems, material handling processes, transportation interfaces, and order fulfillment operations.
  • Experience working in a unionized or labor-represented environment preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead through complexity, manage escalations, and drive operational improvements in a high-volume service environment.

  • Experience leading operations within a large-scale distribution center, megahub, regional PDC, or highly complex warehouse environment.
