Job Description

ProSidian Seeks a Data Entry Assistant - Transportation Safety [Key Personnel | Program Manager - Exempt 874-1 Consultant] located: The United States to provide Transportation Sector related Other Solutions for National Survey of Attitudes and Beliefs on Driving, Drinking, and Drug Use on behalf of U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT).  These services are considered part of The ProSidian Transport & Logistics  Sector Group with overall focus being  Transport & Logistics (TLT) Sector Group: Solutions To Move Transport & Logistics Strategy Forward.  for clients such as National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

JOB OVERVIEW

ProSidian, an innovative management and consulting firm, is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Data Entry Assistant to contribute to a transformative initiative focused on comprehending drivers' attitudes and behaviors related to alcohol and non-alcohol drug use. The Data Entry Assistant will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and secure project data by meticulously entering information into databases and ensuring data quality.

The Data Entry Assistant supports the project by entering project data into a database(s) and ensuring the accuracy and quality of collected and recorded data. The Data Entry Assistant maintains and helps secure project data by following security procedures as established in the project. A data entry assistant may work with text or numerical information, which may be paper-based and therefore require logging into spreadsheets or databases.

As part of a collaborative venture with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), we are seeking a seasoned and adept team member to work on a comprehensive survey project aimed at enhancing road safety and reducing the risks associated with impaired driving. This unique opportunity allows you to play a pivotal role in a research initiative that aligns with our mission to create impactful change. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Perform accurate and timely data entry tasks, transferring project-related data into designated databases.
• Collaborate closely with the project team to ensure the integrity and consistency of collected data.
• Adhere to established data entry procedures and security measures to safeguard project data.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining the project's data management system, ensuring efficient access and retrieval.
• Contribute to generating data-related reports and summaries, as needed by the project team.

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications For  Data Entry Assistant - Transportation Safety | Key Personnel | Program Manager - Exempt 874-1 Consultant Candidates:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in data management is a plus.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Proficiency in data entry techniques and software, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication abilities and a collaborative mindset.
• Education/Experience Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in data management preferred.
• Entry-level position, with a demonstrated aptitude for accurate data entry.

• Must be able to understand and communicate in both the written and spoken words of both Spanish & English in the specialized field of Transportation Engineering and shall have the specialized knowledge and experience described below.
