Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
• 5 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.

We're looking for talented individuals to join our team and help us make these products a success. We are seeking a Tech Lead to scale the PDG Live Interactivity team through mentorship and strategy while influencing partner teams.Our full-stack team focuses on building new user interactions. We need a software engineer with frontend experience who can also handle client-server interactions, metrics instrumentation, experiment analysis, data modeling, and architectural decisions to ensure velocity.

Responsibilities

• Drive value for our flagship Super Chat product (over $100M ARR) and our growing virtual-currency business, Gifts, through engaging interactive features.
• Define and execute a multi-quarter technical roadmap for PDG's interactive features.
• Expand Gifts from vertical video into horizontal formats, and collaborate with product teams to set technical strategies for YouTube TV.
