Job description

Wiley|Wilson combines the technical depth of a large firm with the responsiveness of a small one. Since 1901, we've been helping clients solve complex infrastructure challenges with a focus on trust, quality, and results. As a 100% employee-owned company, every team member shares in our success through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) - a structure that fosters collaboration, accountability, and long-term commitment.

Our Water Resources team is looking for a Senior Engineer to lead water/wastewater projects and provide sound technical solutions for our growing client base. You'll work on water/wastewater plant projects, water and sewer pipelines, pump stations, and storage tanks - and play an active role in mentoring and developing the next generation of engineers.

What You'll Do
You'll serve as the technical lead on water/wastewater projects from concept through construction. You'll be the lead engineer for project teams, and contribute to professional development within the team. You'll also have opportunities to help strengthen client relationships through practical, high-quality solutions.

What Makes You a Great Fit
You have a bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited program and a PE license. You bring experience planning and designing water/wastewater plants and conveyance systems - including water and sewer lines, pump stations, and storage tanks - and have a proven record of technical excellence and project delivery. Experience mentoring engineers and familiarity with hydraulic modeling software (such as Bentley WaterCAD/GEMs) are a plus. Occasional travel and eligibility to work in the U.S. are required.

Why Wiley|Wilson
We support your growth and work-life balance with competitive pay, bonuses tied to company performance, multiple health plan options, and a 401(k) with up to 6% match. You'll also enjoy 24 days of paid time off plus five holidays, tuition reimbursement, and 80 hours of parental leave for the birth or adoption of a child.

Our Work Appropriately policy offers flexibility to work in the office, hybrid, or remotely - so you can choose what works best for you.

Wiley|Wilson has offices in Alexandria, Lynchburg, and Richmond, VA; Raleigh, NC; and Atlanta, GA.
