Job description

RAS Logistics is currently seeking independent contractors to provide delivery of building and home improvement supplies for major retailer. We are seeking experienced contractors to meet the needs of these retailers (our customers). If you are interested in expanding your Motor Carrier business, then contracting with RAS represents a significant financial opportunity for your business.

Requirements

  • ICC is a legal business entity
  • ICC has or is able to obtain its own Interstate Motor Carrier Authority (USDOT # and MC #)
  • ICC must have or is able to obtain and provide Certificate of Insurance for Auto Liability, General Liability, Umbrella, Cargo, Workers Injury, and Trailer Interchange insurance.
  • Class A License
  • Tractor/Power Unit required (Tandem axle day cab preferred)
  • Trailer Mounted Forklift experience is a plus.
  • Driver only routes, no helper needed.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Willing to submit to a background check
  • Availability of 6 days a week Monday thru Saturday
  • Need to provide own coverage for callouts, sick days, PTO, vacation, injury, accident, etc

Compensation and Pay:

  • $650-$675 daily w/trailer moffett rental of $180 weekly
