Job Summary

Lead with purpose, support with strategy!
As Director of Human Resources, you will spearhead all HR operations and strategy at the Los Angeles Convention Center. You'll shape culture, lead recruitment, drive compliance, and cultivate team member engagement while ensuring alignment with Levy's values and vision.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles

  • Proficient in HRIS systems and employment law

  • Experience in hospitality or venue-based environments preferred

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention initiatives

  • Oversee employee relations and resolve conflicts effectively

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

  • Develop and implement training and development programs

  • Manage performance review and succession planning processes

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to venue leadership on HR matters

  • Promote Levy's values of inclusion, respect, and development
